Boston’s Most Iconic Venue

Constructed in 1884, the Cyclorama was originally created to house a painting: Paul Dominique Philippoteaux’s panoramic depiction of The Battle of Gettysburg. The Cyclorama is on the National Register of Historic Landmarks and features old world industrial charm with conveniences such as air conditioning, a flexible floor plan, an onsite kitchen and a built-in, fully electrified, truss structure. Your guests enter our building amid the South End’s vibrant retail district and tree-lined streets filled with historic brownstone houses in one of the largest designated historic neighborhoods in the country.

Where Your Vision Comes to Life

The Cyclorama’s historic brick floor, stunning copper dome, and skylight have set the stage for hundreds of Boston’s most innovative events. It is a completely raw venue, and with the help of talented vendors, it has been transformed into everything from a Broadway-style stage at the Huntington Theatre Company Gala to a one-of-a-kind retail pop up for Nike. The Cyclorama is a blank canvas for you to express your vision. In addition, guests enjoy the artistic surroundings of Boston Center for the Arts, including murals and theatrical spaces that add flair and drama to events of all shapes and sizes.
