‘HELLO! my name is…’ is a lunchtime virtual meetup series designed to connect our audiences to Boston Center for the Arts’ programs and artists.
In this virtual event, Ashleigh Gordon, co-founder, Artistic/Executive Director and violist of BCA Launchpad Resident Castle of our Skins, will give insights to their organization and their artistic process. Ashleigh will talk about Thresh and Hold, and answer any of your questions about their organization.
Born out of the desire to foster cultural curiosity, Castle of our Skins is a concert and educational series dedicated to celebrating Black artistry through music. From classrooms to concert halls, Castle of our Skins invites exploration into Black heritage and culture, spotlighting both unsung and celebrated figures of past and present.
On March 13, join Shirley Graham du Bois Creative in Residence poet Marlanda Dekine-Sapient Soul for an evening-length, multimedia experience centered around their new book of poetry Thresh & Hold.
