About the series

Each 1:1 exhibition is a collaborative project between one curator and one artist, and will either introduce a new artist or highlight a new aspect of a more experienced artist’s work.  

Each exhibition will be on view for five weeks.

BCA will provide a stipend for both the curator and the artist, as well as exhibition expenses.  The curator will be expected to provide an original text about the artist, and to present one public program (virtual or IRL) during the run of the show.
