Summer of Love & Humanity/Love In An Elevator
Presented by Six Corners Entertainment
Black Box Theatre
July 27, 2023 – August 13, 2023
The Summer of Love and Humanity Festival — presented by Six Corners Entertainment — features an evening of live music from local bands and musicians followed by the world premiere of Boston playwright Richard Ravosa’s Love In An Elevator, a play inspired by Plato’s Symposium.
Rounding out what just may be the most diverse cast on a Boston stage this summer, are a rabbi, a professor, a chef, a skinhead, a musician, a nurse, a patient, a lawyer, a construction worker, and his fiancee, are all trapped inside a hospital elevator for over an hour. To pass the time, they take turns musing on that most elusive of subjects – love, and of course someone has to pee!
