“Each gathering is audio-recorded to allow RAYO to be present in real space and time and so they can craft with care a new performance based on what is shared in the space.

Da Gathering serves as a living archive and space for testimonies from Black women and femmes who wish to gather under conditions made under us. Each conversation becomes a space where our stories are honored.

My prayer is that this space serves as an invitation for Black women and femmes to not only gather in care, but to cook in our kitchen!

As my work is both intellectual and devotional, it is also a love letter to my community of Black women and femmes who are curious about care beyond the rainbow that is not enuf.

Please note that this is an affinity space for those who identify as Black women and/or femmes aged 18 and older.
