Call for Exhibitors: Boston Art Book Fair 2023

Boston Art Book Fair 2023 — our fifth! — will once again fill Boston Center for the Arts’ historic Cyclorama with artists and exhibitors working with printed material and multiples in many forms. Exhibitors will be located under one spectacular dome, with related programs taking place across BCA’s South End venues.

Boston Center for the Arts (BCA) and Bodega team up to present Boston Art Book Fair 2023, a free, all-ages weekend celebrating art, text, print and the myriad ways artists find expression through, and push the definition of, these forms. This much anticipated annual event invites active engagement, engages all the senses, and has the goal of connecting art with community as broadly as possible.

Applicants may also select one half of a ZINE/ARTIST level table, which includes half of a shared 6 foot wide table, and one chair.  As with the full ZINE/ARTIST level tables, no wall is included.

PROGRAMMING PROPOSALS

We present a series of public programs and workshops over the course of the fair, as well as programming during our opening night preview and book signings throughout the fair.  The selection process for these programs is quite competitive, but we will try to accommodate as many signings as we can.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis; tables are not assured until Exhibitor Agreement has been fully executed and full payment has been received by Boston Center for the Arts. Full refunds cannot be made, however if Exhibitor notifies BCA by October 13, 2023, 50% refund will be made.  Refunds will not be made if Exhibitor notifies BCA of non-participation after that date.
