The BCA Studio Residency program is designed to foster and support experimentation and new art being created in Boston. The program provides selected artists with affordable work-only studio space in BCA’s Artist Studios Building in Boston’s South End, along with substantial program benefits, including external curatorial visits, exhibition opportunities, networking events, and more.
Inaugurated in Summer 2021, BCA Studio Residency program supports more than 50 artists yearly working in photography, sculpture, painting, video, digital media, performance, and public art. BCA organizes multiple networking opportunities to build a strong arts community in Boston, and helps artists professional development through studio visits, workshops, and mentorship.
