BCA COLLECTING SERIES: CONFIDENT & ETHICAL COLLECTING

Thursday, September 21, 12–1pm
Online via Zoom

Join Boston Center for the Arts (BCA) on Thursday, September 21, 12–1pm to kick off our BCA Collecting Series with a virtual panel discussion on Confident and Ethical Collecting.

In this session, our speakers will explore ways to collect responsibly and treat artists ethically. Whether you are a seasoned long-term collector or looking to start, this session will help you gain a new perspective on collecting. Join us to go beyond a focus on commodification and financial investment and delve into inclusivity and genuine love and appreciation for Boston artists.

Our speakers Christine O’Donnell, owner and director of Beacon Gallery, and Barbara Krakow, co-director of Krakow Witkin Gallery, will host a lively discussion followed by time for audience Q&A. Moderated by Hillary Babick, CFRE, fundraising consultant, visual artist, and BCA Membership Advisory Council member.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions about the event. We look forward to seeing you online!
