Set in a small liberal arts college in Connecticut, Dr. Faust is a recent hire who is already dissatisfied by the limits on how much knowledge one can access in the academic world. Finding himself drawn to the natural intuitiveness of a young student, he plots to access this knowledge with the help of a mischievous, other-worldly figure whose motives are perhaps not the most innocent.
