JB183 is a Bronx-born, Boston-raised, self-taught visual artist who creates from the comfort of his cave in Roxbury.
Inspired by the creativity of Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami and Ewok 5mh, he works with spray paint, acrylics, and digital mediums to produce colorful and unique pieces reflective of the urban street art genre.
As a co-founder of AoA Supply, a graffiti artist collective, he has supported in curating numerous shows and events throughout the city. JB hopes to expand to new mediums and continue challenging himself to help create an art scene in Boston that is bigger and badder than ever.
JB183’s three-year BCA Studio Residency is supported by Wagner Foundation.
