Artist Statement

I am attracted to rhythms of color and line, to the seemingly chaotic, and to things hidden or layered. I work with oil sticks and oil pastel on paper, oil and acrylic on canvas, and collage and found object assemblages. My current series of collages is focused on small connections between disparate images and objects, thinking about order and chaos and how they intersect.
