2023–2024 Annual Impact Report
As we reflect on the past year at BCA, we are incredibly proud of the impact we continue to have on Boston’s vibrant arts community, while also acknowledging the broader challenges facing the sector.
In response to the growing need for affordable artist space in the city, BCA continued to operate Boston’s largest residency program. And because of your support:
- We supported 787 artists across 7 residencies and 86 exhibitions, performances, and events;
- We provided $1,087,500 worth of free and subsidized studio and performance space;
- And we also provided $104,000 in direct payment to artists in FY24.
