Sketch n’ Sorrel

Unwind in a paint-and-sip style workshop where you’ll collage dreamscapes and memories into one-of-a-kind artworks!

Inspired by artist Andrae Green’s self-referential, narrative-driven work, this hands-on workshop invites participants to explore their own identities and experiences through collage. Participants may also choose to build narratives around family members or friends, translating personal stories into layered visual compositions. Participants will also get a behind-the-scenes look at artist Andrae’s creative practice, learning small tips and details that can help you paint like a pro (or at least have fun trying!).

Enjoy a glass of sorrel while connecting with community, art, and culture in a relaxed setting. 16 spots available—registration required. Family-friendly and open to all ages. If the event reaches capacity, the gallery still be open to visitors and additional spots may become available on-site if there are no-shows.

Pick up a brush, sip some sorrel, and sketch like an artist!
